The magazine “Signaal” was a German propaganda magazine published during World War II. Launched in 1940, the magazine aimed to disseminate Nazi propaganda to both German and Allied soldiers and civilians in German-occupied territories.

“Signal” contained articles, photos and illustrations highlighting the successes of the German army, as well as stories about the heroism of German soldiers and allies. The magazine was published in several languages, including Dutch, English, French and Norwegian, to reach a wider audience.

Despite the magazine's propaganda purposes, the content and visual presentation of "Signal" were known for their high quality. This contributed to its spread and popularity during the war years.

It is now often remembered as an example of how propaganda was used to influence public opinion and manipulate the image of the war.
