The Iron Cross in the set did not originally belong to the bag, but this is still a unique set that will not look out of place in a display case.
The Iron Cross 1939, 2nd Class, was awarded throughout the Second World War, from the time Germany invaded Poland in September 1939 until the end of the war in May 1945. It was awarded to servicemen and members of the German Armed Forces for exceptional performance on the battlefield or for long-term service.
