Document “mit dem besten Wünschen zum Julfest 1941” signed by SS-Sturmbahnführer Willy Lages, head of the Sicherheitspolizei and SD of the Aussenstelle Amsterdam. The document is 12cm x 17,5cm and once contained a "Mein Kampf" which was given as a gift, unfortunately it was already sold separately.
Lages was appointed manager of the Zentralstelle für jüdische Auswanderung in Amsterdam in 1941. As a result, he became jointly responsible for the deportation of Jews from the Netherlands to concentration and extermination camps in Germany and occupied Poland. Willy Lages was interned in Breda on February 24, 1955, together with Joseph Kotalla, Ferdinand aus der Fünten and Franz Fischer. Together they were known as the “4 van Breda”.
