Certificate for a participant in the 3. Reichsberufswettkampf der German Youth for participation in the category Schaufenster (window dresser).

The “Reichsberufswettkampf der deutschen Jugend” was a kind of national competition for young people in National Socialist Germany. It was first organized in 1934. The aim of the competition was to prepare young people for their future professional tasks and at the same time promote National Socialist ideas.

It was a massive event that attracted thousands of youth from different parts of the country. The competition included a variety of disciplines that aimed to test the physical, intellectual and vocational skills of the participants. This included sporting competitions, technical competitions, artistic performances and examinations in various craft professions. The Reichsberufswettkampf also served to emphasize the ideological goals of the National Socialists, especially the importance of discipline, obedience, willingness to sacrifice and service to one's country. Through these competitions, young people were to be prepared to serve as the “elite” of German society in various professions, in order to strengthen National Socialist Germany.
