A unique and fantastic group of 3 people: Eva, Toni and his brother Otto. We recently received this unique collection of documents, awards and a BDM/Land Service photo album directly from the family.

Eva from Sudetenland was engaged to (An)Toni a Uffz on October 8, 1944. with the Panzer-Regiment 2. where he died between 20.03.1945 - 25.03.1945. In his last letter to Eva he sent his Besitzzeugnis for the Panzerkampfabzeichen 2e Stufe for 25 deployments. Eva has kept these and more memories of Toni and his brother Otto, who had the Besitzzeugnis das Ärmelband “AFRIKA”. After the war, she took all her belongings with her when she had to leave the Czech Republic. Otto went missing during the war. In 1953, Eva wrote a letter to the Suchdienst of the DRK asking if anything was known about Otto, but without result.
