USM 1 Inner Helmet Brigadier General MSA
USM 1 fiber inner helmet with the star of a Brigadier General from the 40s. The helmet is stamped MSA (Mine Safety Appliance) 18 for the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania produced helmets. The MSA began deliveries in September 1942 and produced between 2.000.000 and 4.000.000 M1 internals. Production stopped on August 17, 1945 when the war ended.
The helmet still has approximately 95% of the original paint. Unfortunately the chin strap is broken, hence this price.
