Awarded to Soviet personnel on the Trans-Baikal Front in the Far East, Pacific Fleet and the Amur River Flotilla operating between August – September 1945; to military personnel of the central offices of the People's Commissariat for Defense, the People's Commissariat for the Navy of the USSR and the NKVD, who contributed to the planning of the operations of Soviet troops in the Far East.
