Brooch with a diameter of approx. 4cm from the German Land Service.
On Thursday, July 9, 1942, 400 Dutch boys and girls aged 16 and older left for East Prussia to work on farms. On July 28, 1943, another 200 young people followed to the “Oostland” to colonize “vacated” areas there. The Germanic Land Service aimed to guarantee the food production of Europe and was led by the staff leader of the Youth Storm, Opperbanheer C. Quispel Szn.
