Pin measuring approx. 4,7cm x 3,1cm in memory of the SA martyr Bruno Schramm.

Bruno Schramm was a graduated engineer from Zülz in Upper Silesia. He took part in several nationalist and paramilitary groups that fought against the Weimar Republic and the Polish invasions after World War I.

Schramm was a member of both the “Oberschlesien Selbstschutz” (Upper Silesian Self-Defense) and the “Frei Korps Oberland”. These groups were known for their nationalist and anti-communist views, and they were involved in several street fights and conflicts during that time.

On January 22, 1932, there was a confrontation between Schramm and other members of nationalist groups and communists, which resulted in his death on January 23, 1932. His last words, as reported, were "I die for all of you," which signified the dedication to his case and his beliefs.

Schramm is often remembered as a symbol of the struggle between different political and ideological forces in interwar Germany, and his death contributed to the mythology surrounding the early years of National Socialism.
