The Reichstag Swahl of November 6, 1932 was an important election in the Weimar Republic, Germany's democratic period between the First and Second World Wars. It was the last national election to take place before Adolf Hitler came to power in January 1933.

The elections of November 6, 1932 took place against the background of political unrest and economic crisis. Germany had been hit hard by the Great Depression, which led to growing support for extremist parties, especially the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) on the left and the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) on the right.

In the elections of November 6, 1932, the NSDAP led by Adolf Hitler made significant gains, but failed to achieve an absolute majority. The NSDAP became the largest party in the Reichstag with 33,1% of the vote, winning 196 seats. Despite this election victory, Hitler failed to form a coalition government, leading to political instability and ongoing government crises.

Ultimately, the political impasse would lead to Hitler's appointment as Chancellor on January 30, 1933, marking the beginning of the Nazi regime and the end of the Weimar Republic.
